1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using StudyPing, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

StudyPing is a notification service that connects to your Canvas LMS account and sends you timely reminders about assignments, grades, and deadlines via SMS, WhatsApp, and email.

3. Account Requirements

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use StudyPing.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must provide a valid Canvas API token to use the service.

4. Canvas API Token

By providing your Canvas API token, you authorize StudyPing to access your Canvas data (courses, assignments, grades, and due dates) on your behalf. You may revoke this access at any time by deleting your token in Canvas or in your StudyPing settings.

5. Messaging & Communications

By using StudyPing, you consent to receive automated SMS and WhatsApp messages at the phone number you provide. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or updating your notification preferences in settings.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

  • StudyPing offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription.
  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you believe you are owed a refund.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use StudyPing for any purpose other than receiving Canvas notifications.
  • Share your account with others or use another person's account.
  • Attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt our systems or infrastructure.
  • Use the service to send spam or unsolicited messages.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep StudyPing available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for missed notifications due to service outages, network issues, or incorrect Canvas data.

9. Limitation of Liability

StudyPing is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any academic consequences resulting from missed, delayed, or inaccurate notifications. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your settings.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of StudyPing after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of significant changes via email.
